The final draft of the Zoning Ordinance Update Project is now available for public review here.
The draft ordinance is currently before the Planning Commission for its first review of the final draft. This project has been underway for several years, with progress affected by COVID-19 and other delays.
The updated draft provides a cleaner, more user-friendly version of the current Zoning Ordinance and includes updated and additional definitions, as well as additional land uses such as Short-Term Rentals and Data Centers.
Please note the following:
- No zoning districts have been changed.
- The Zoning Map has not been modified.
- Several amendments that previously appeared in the introductory pages of the Zoning Ordinance have been relocated to the sections and articles to which they apply.
The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for July 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
Public review and input are encouraged as the Planning Commission begins its review of the final draft.
