Announcements: The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026, has been CANCELLED. No plans were submitted for review for this meeting. The final draft of the Zoning Ordinance Update Project will be posted to the Township website in the next few weeks, along with a Summary of Changes. The updated ordinance and summary of changes will be discussed at the October 12, 2026, Planning Commission meeting.

Public Notice – Planning Commission Alternates Wanted

Middle Paxton Township is seeking three (3) residents to serve as Alternate Members on the Township Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is a seven-member board that reviews land development plans and helps guide the Township’s growth and zoning decisions.
Applicants with experience or background in engineering, site planning, land development, or zoning are encouraged to apply, although all interested residents will be considered.
To apply, please complete the application form here and submit it along with a letter of interest to Julie Seeds, Township Manager. Applications may be mailed or dropped off at the Township Building, 10 Elizabeth Avenue, Dauphin, PA 17018, or emailed to jseeds@middlepaxtontwp.org.

All meetings will be held in the Township Meeting Room (10 Elizabeth Avenue, Dauphin, PA 17018) at 7:00 p.m.
